The Blonder Tongue FRPR-4 (Fiber Return Path Receiver) is a rack-mounted fiber optic return path receiver. The 19” 1RU chassis contains (4) four independent optical return path receivers all supporting a bandwidth from 5MHz to 200MHz. Utilizing high performance photodiodes and hybrid amplifiers, the FRPR-4 is a high-density, full-featured receiver for cable modem up-stream signals. Optical input indicators and rear panel -20dB RF test ports are provided for each of the 4 receivers to aid in set-up and testing. A front panel RF attenuator on each receiver section allows the user to adjust the RF output level from +0dBmV to +30dBmV.
