Las Vegas, Nevada – Absen recently showcased its new outdoor LED product, the JP8Pro at Live Design International (LDI). This outdoor solution is perfect for concerts, festivals, and events. This new series features an 8.33 pixel-pitch, 4500nit high brightness, 16-bit gray scale, and a 3840Hz refresh rate for outstanding display performance even in challenging outdoor conditions.
The JP8Pro is made of aluminum and carbon fiber and features a modular design that is comparable with the JP 3.9 and 4.8 models. It has strong transparency that allows the panels to be seen with matching lighting and fog. It also is able to be operated safely in challenging outdoor condition, even in wind speeds up to 46 mph when hanging 78ft high. Another key feature is the locking system for easy installation. Users can use the fast-locking mechanism with big handles for side locking and easy top-bottom installation. Curves are also accomplished with precise stuck slots for every 5° that will support -10° ~ +15° curve splicing to satisfy reactive arc stage requirements.
As mentioned earlier, the modular design allows for easy rear maintenance of the panels as well as having the same wind resistant frame that is found on the VN Series. It also shares the same dolly transportation system as the earlier released 3.9 and 4.8 models for easy transport from venue to venue.
Absen also showcased several other rental and staging solutions. This includes the award – winning VN Series touring solution, last year’s Best New product Floor LED MR Series, fine pixel-pitch rental and staging solution AX Pro Series, finally the flagship rental/virtual production solution PL Series. Overall, the show was a great experience for the team as clients were able to see and experience the overall quality of Absen LED solutions. Next year LDI will be held from November 12 -14, 2022 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
