New Modero X Series G5 Touch Panels Are Faster, Easier to Use and Visually Superior

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – February 4, 2014 – Delivering on its commitment to create AV solutions for an IT world, at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2014, AMX® stunned visitors to their booth when they got their first demonstration of the significantly enhanced Modero X® Series G5 family of touch panels, which are being described as leaps and bounds above anything else on the market.

When designing the new Modero X, one thing was clear – the changes would all be improvements to the inside – the revolutionary, award-winning form factor wouldn't be altered in any way. But the changes to the inside – would be significant. A new G5 Graphics Engine replaces the previous G4, providing faster and smoother animations and transitions, putting simply beautiful, beautifully simple into a whole new context. In addition to implementing a new G5 graphics engine, AMX also quadrupled the processing horsepower with a new Quad Core Processor - the fastest in the industry. This new platform runs today's applications quicker than ever and has enough processing power on tap to run more demanding applications to come in the future.

To simplify meeting room technology even further, built-in web browsing and document viewing was added, eliminating the need for and cost of a stand-alone meeting room PC. AMX also eased life for the integrator by adding the ability to deploy and update touch panel files from a network URL to greatly simplify touch panel file management behind the scenes. And the new Modero X includes two new mounting options including a Flush Wall Mount for a sleeker, in-wall look and a secure Lectern/Table mount, which added theft deterrence. The best just got better.
