Crestron at the ISE 2024 Trade Show: Roundup and Resources

New product releases and info webinars, training opportunities, and more — it’s all here

Feb. 2, 2024 - With another ISE® trade show in the books, here’s a “one-stop shop” for all the info and resources you’ll need regarding Crestron’s new product releases, training, and info relevant to the annual event.

The 2024 ISE trade show was big: With a floor that expanded 30% from 2023, the 20th-anniversary show is expected to break attendance records when the final tally is in. Crestron’s presence at the show met the moment, with exhibits that totaled more than 11,000 square feet.

New Product Releases

Beyond the great opportunities for in-person, face-to-face networking, a hands-on look at new industry offerings is obviously a huge part of any trade show. While Crestron again focused on creating end-to-end experiences for commercial, residential, and hospitality applications, those ecosystems are constructed from an ever-evolving portfolio of devices that create those environments. 2024 was no different — in fact, Crestron rolled out an especially large number of new products, including:

The New Crestron 1 Beyond Cameras with Optical Zoom

Crestron introduces four new cameras that can bring intelligent video to the larger spaces in your organization, ensuring that everyone in a hybrid collaboration environment can see and be seen. These cameras rely on optical as opposed to digital zoom. Optical zoom occurs within the physical lens of a camera, while digital zoom “blows up” and crops an image in close-up, which means that optical zoom provides a much clearer picture.

Automate VX 6.1 Speaker Tracking Solution

What better way to complement Crestron’s new cameras? The latest update to the Crestron Automate VX speaker tracking solution — version 6.1 — adds visual AI by auto-framing the speaker for a best-in-class meeting experience. Visual AI extends the power of Automate VX speaker tracking, centering the speaker in the frame even if they move from a position where a microphone has been sending location data.

The Crestron Videobar 70 All-in-One Collaboration Bar

The Crestron Videobar 70 all-in-one collaboration bar is designed to provide a premium audiovisual experience for medium to large meeting rooms and deliver premium audio and images to in-person and remote collaborators. Driven by the latest Qualcomm® chipset, the Videobar 70 provides massive computer power — and that technology ensures this collaboration will support future innovations and feature sets without replacing any hardware.

The DM-NAX-XSP Audio Return Processor

Our first Surround Sound decoding DM NAX® digital signal processor can bridge streaming TVs to Crestron’s DM NAX multi-room audio distribution system. It’s a truly innovative solution that opens up new possibilities for immersive audio experiences throughout the home.

The Crestron DM-NAX-4ZSA-50 4+1 Streaming Amplifier

This new streaming amp from Crestron is a smaller version of the DM-NAX-8ZSA (and at a lower price point, too). It’s perfect for smaller projects such as restaurants, retail shops, apartment settings, or as an expansion amplifier for a larger existing system. Simply put, it’s perfect for applications where its “big brother” would be overkill.

Four New Crestron DM NAX® Audio Edge Devices for Residential and Commercial Integrations

Our new comprehensive lineup of audio accessories, the Crestron DM NAX® Audio Edge Devices, can provide the audio connectivity solution you need for a wide range of commercial and residential solutions. Pulling in audio from a variety of sources, from turntables to laptops to karaoke machines, is incredibly useful in a wide variety of applications — it’s another way Crestron brings you “entertainment everywhere.”

New Product Webinars and Training

With new products comes new info, naturally. As February progresses, you’ll be able to find deep dives into Crestron’s latest software and hardware offerings, including info on DM NVX® AV-over-IP technology and Crestron Control for Zoom Rooms® software. Find the complete catalog of Crestron webinars (including archived content) here.

Additionally, Crestron’s always working on new learning opportunities, including the upcoming Crestron Masters training event in March. Find more info and register.

One Million (and Counting) Crestron DM NVX AV-over-IP Devices Shipped

Crestron is also celebrating the ongoing success of one of our most popular solutions: the DM NVX AV-over-IP line will ship its one-millionth unit this year. This celebration wasn’t limited to the Crestron booth — in fact, attendees saw how proud we are of the accomplishment as soon as they stepped into the Fira Barcelona Metra station.

That continuing celebration also includes a look at seven recent projects that integrate the technology in ways that can only be described as state-of-the-art, and we also dig into the history of the solution’s development.
