"We celebrate our 35'th Anniversary in the ProAV Industry in North America this year." said Mr. Niimura. "And I'm pleased to mark the occasion by participating in the Visions of America project." "ProAV is all about communicating ideas," he continued "and this is one idea we are proud to be associated-with."

Visions of America (VOA) is a groundbreaking multi-media celebration of America at the dawn of the third millennium. Combining the words and philosophies of our founders with sublime imagery and original symphonic music, VOA presents a compelling visual-musical portrait of Democracy.

During the program audiences will explore the ideas, hopes and dreams that bind us together as a nation. Through encountering the landscapes, cityscapes, small towns and rituals that define us as a people, audiences will realize that this generation of Americans is the recipient and caretaker of the founders' Vision of America.

The project is the dream of American History teacher turned photographer-writer-producer, Joseph Sohm. Over 30 years, Sohm has traveled more than one million miles to capture the spirit of America on film. What began as Sohm's vision of America is now a plural pursuit involving composer-performer-arranger Roger Kellaway, lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman, writer Paul Theroux, Creative Director Peter Green, and other talented artists. And now Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra bring the vision to life: the Inaugural Concert for the People premiers January 25 - February 1, 2009, at Kimmel Center-Verizon Hall.

In support of this program, Eiki has placed a pair of 15,000 ANSI Lumen LC-XT5 projectors in the hands of VOA projectionist John Williams, of CMI Communications. Mr. Williams will stage the Philadelphia event, and others around the country as the year unfolds.
