Erlanger, KY , October 5, 2009—TV One is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Bob Stern to the position of Midwest Regional Sales Manager. He joins TV One with an extensive sales background, with the past 19 years in the video industry. He will be based in Chicago and oversee the following states: Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri.
In 1990, Bob’s passion for technology led him into a new career in the audio video electronics industry. His sales expertise allowed his skills to transfer from selling radio advertising, which is totally intangible, to selling consumer and professional A/V products, which are tangible and application driven. Bob is CTS certified and has dealer sales experience in the Chicago area.
In 2000, Bob began an eight year career with Kramer Electronics, a manufacturer of switching and signal management products, as their Central Regional Sales Manager. In 2007, he was awarded Best Manufacturer’s Representative from one of his dealers. His ability to connect with the customer, provide exceptional service and explain the benefits and workings of a product is key to Bob’s success. He treats customers as he would like to be treated, with courtesy and professionalism.
The position was recently vacated by Tony McAhren, who assumes Marketing and Product Management responsibilities at TV One’s Erlanger headquarters. Tony continues his success with TV One by using his 30 years in the industry to guide the Company’s ongoing product development effort. Tony’s experience in broadcast, post production, A/V design, operations and sales is invaluable to TV One’s efforts to bring to market a new range of high quality, affordable and dynamic products using the Company’s proprietary CORIO® technology.
